Enshrined

Enshrined in an experimental game that focuses on procedural religion and ritual involving indiviuals and collectives. The aim of the game is to explore the game world , conducting rituals and interacting with different non-player characters and objects as a way self-relfection and to explore the the many facets of religion and how this relates to the player as both an individual and in a collective.

The game is set in Amun, the holy city. An ancient place where pilgrims have been traveling to for centuries. Nobody remembers where the city came from or what worshippers originally practiced in here. 

Only that this has been a sacred place for many eons. The story revolves around the player exploring the city as a new pilgrim that has entered the city. The narrative is told in a non-linear structure that relies on the player to explore and has no explicit dialogue or narrative.
